Special Guest Speaker: Prof. Robert Lewand, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Goucher College, Baltimore  

Title: "Some Classical Cryptography"

Prof. Lewand will examine some elementary cryptographic schemes, illustrating a few of them  found in various literary works such as Edgar Allen Poe’s The Gold Bug and Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code.
